If you were due a refund and didn't opt for store credit, we will refund you ideally via the same method of payment you paid us with in the first place. So if you paid by EFT, we'll refund by EFT. If through PayFast, then ideally back through PayFast through whatever payment method you used on PayFast.

EFT

In order to refund you by EFT, we'll need you to supply your banking details to us and our accounts department will process the refund. Please allow 2 working days for them to process the refund (administrative time) and an additional 2 working days for the refund to reflect on your bank account (bank clearing time).

PayFast

If you paid by PayFast, we will attempt to refund you on PayFast through whatever method you paid in the first place.

Card

Not all card transactions are refundable. If your transaction is, please allow 2 working days for the refund to be initiated (administrative time) and an additional 7 to 10 working days for the refund to reflect (card association clearing time). Please note that we have no control over this 7 to 10 working day period; this is the nature of the card network and is the time which Visa or Mastercard specifies.

If your card transaction is not able to be refunded, we will request your bank details rather and will refund you by EFT as per the above.

FNB and Standard Bank users please note: When the refund is initiated you might be sent a message by the bank which looks like you got charged again. This is not the case. This is the result of bad messaging on the part of the bank and you were in fact refunded; please wait the necessary time and check your actual bank/card statement and you will see that the refund has gone through correctly. It is the message/SMS which is wrong.

QR Code (Masterpass, Zapper etc.)

Unfortunately, QR Code based transactions are generally not refundable though the original payment mechanism and we will likely need to refund you by EFT.

We will request your bank details rather and will refund you by EFT as per the above.
